Piecing together Henry & Esther “Hetty” Price Neel
Of Isaac Price Sr.’s children, the most difficult to find information on has been his daughter Ether “Hetty” Price and her husband, Henry Neel.
Henry Neel was the last son born to Henry Neel and Nancy Reid April 9 1779 in Mecklenburg County, NC.
Esther Price was born 6 Jan 1786 to Isaac & Esther Bradley Price. On 8 Apr 1805, in Mecklenburg County, NC, she married Henry Neel.

Dear Brother
After my compliments to you and family, I will inform you that we are all well and the connections in our part as far as I know at present. There has been neither deaths nor marriages amongst us in this part since I have written you, but the death of Henry Neel he departed this life on the 8th of September with four days sickness supposed to be occasioned by drinks. Their second daughter Polly was married in the month of June last to a young gentleman of this place all parties willing. Sister Hetty [Esther Price Neel] had a son born about ten days before the death of Henry. […] And on the acception of this please write to me on the subject. Give my best respects to all my friends in that country and to Sister Nancy and family in particular.
