Eddie Price -

My dad was born in Greenville Texas. My grandfather, John Price, worked for Lance Crackers and had been transferred to their plant in Greenville. So John and Sammy packed up their son, Johnny, and daughter, Sandra, to relocate.

My grandmother, though sweet and adventurous, battled demons that to this day we have not fleshed out. Depression was evident in her life and alcohol was a self soother. I don’t ever remember her drinking or being inebriated, but my dad recalls being a young boy and trying to get to the sherry or wine in the just-toted-in grocery bags before she could down the whole bottle. I hate he and his siblings were anxious about this and left to guard themselv


Now, I’m completely biased but my dad was the cutest dang little boy I’ve ever seen! Proof:

My dad was hired on with the Mecklenburg County Police Department amd started June 1973. In his career he was a Patrolman, Investigator, Sergent, Dispatch Supervisor, Training Supervisor_______________
